En este recorrido es posible contemplar hermosos atardeceres sobre las azules aguas del mar Caribe, atravesar el sector de Bocagrande, considerado el mayor complejo turístico de Colombia y, disfrutar de la hermosa visual que ofrece la bahía de Cartagena a través de un sendero peatonal que permite un tranquilo recorrido contemplativo ideal para tomar fotografías. La temática de este recorrido gira en torno al sistema de fortificaciones que defendieron a la ciudad de los numerosos ataques de piratas y filibusteros en tiempos coloniales. Visitaremos el cordón amurallado y sus diferentes baluartes, el fuerte de San Sebastián del Pastelillo y el castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, que es la obra de ingeniería militar más grande de Hispanoamérica. Durante el recorrido se explicará el proceso de construcción y el papel que jugaron estas fortificaciones dentro del sistema de defensa de la ciudad.
